OUR MISSION
To provide recreational facilities and activities for the citizens of Ward Four, District One. Our goal is to better enhance the lives and health of our local members. All District One citizens are urged to participate in this endeavor.
Ward 4 Recreation
The Recreation District One Property is governed by a Board of Commissioners, a District Director and staff, Game Officials, Coaches, Managers and a set of Rules and Regulations.
Please adhere to the Rules and Regulations for the benefit of all.
Eligibility
You must provide at least two forms of proof of residency.
- A valid Louisiana Driver’s License or a valid Louisiana pictured identification card with your current address: and
- A current utility bill showing your address.

We provide nursery services every week day. You must sign your child in and out of nursery.
Ages are 2 years through 5 years old. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Nursery Service Hours:
- 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Please do not drop off your child before scheduled times and please pick them up on time. Children cannot be left in the lobby or concession area.

The Game Room is for ages are 6 years old and up. A child under 6 years old must use the baby sitting service.
- The Game Room hours are:
8:00AM – 7:30PM weekdays
Please do not drop off children before scheduled times and please pick them up on time. Children cannot be left in the lobby or concession area.
In order for the staff to clean, thirty minutes before closing they will ask that the children sit at the tables and play board games.
